According to a tip off obtained through police that the crowd have been having fun after getting involved in narcotics, the region was once cordoned and eleven suspects have been taken into custody with narcotics in their possession.

magistrate Mr. Sampath M. Gamage the suspects had been released on a bail of Rs. 1 lakh totalling eleven lakhs in all. They hailed from areas such as Colombo, Ratnapura, Thambuttegama, Kandy, Homagama and Panadura and had joined in as pals throughout Facebook. Over 200 Facebook male and woman buddies belonging to this circle had received collectively at this party and the police who acquired information had employed officers in order to affirm that narcotics have been being used and after it was once confirmed, the pleasure-seekers were cornered through Meetiyagoda police with the assist of officers of four police stations.
